California Privacy Notice

This notice supplements our Privacy Policy and is provided under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, the "CCPA"). It applies to California residents.
1. Notice at collection
At or before the point we collect your information, we want you to know the categories we collect, why, and how long we keep it. We collect:

Retention: We keep each category only as long as needed for the purposes above and for legal, tax, and warranty recordkeeping, after which we delete or de-identify it.
Sale/sharing: We do not sell your personal information for money. With your consent, we share online identifiers and Site activity with Meta and Google for cross-context behavioral advertising (the Meta Pixel and Google Ads); you can opt out at any time (see your rights below). We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16. Categories of recipients include advertising and analytics partners (Meta, Google), our booking provider (DetailerMade), our payment processor, and our host (Netlify).
2. Your rights
- Right to know / access: request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties to whom we disclose it.
- Right to delete: request deletion of personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
- Right to correct: request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Right to opt out of sharing: we share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising (Meta Pixel, Google Ads) with your consent. Opt out via our cookie banner, the footer "Cookie Preferences" link, the Do Not Sell or Share page, or a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, which we honor. We do not sell personal information for money.
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information: we do not use sensitive personal information for purposes that trigger this right.
- Right to non-discrimination: we will not deny service, charge a different price, or provide a different level of service because you exercised your rights.

4. How we verify your request
To protect your information, we verify your identity before fulfilling a request to know, delete, or correct. We do this by matching the information you provide (such as your name and the phone number or email used to book) against our records. We will not use information collected for verification for any other purpose.
5. Timing
We confirm receipt of a request within 10 business days and aim to respond within 45 calendar days. If we need more time (up to 90 days total), we will tell you why.
6. Authorized agents
You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We may require the agent to provide proof of authorization and may ask you to verify your identity directly with us.
7. "Shine the Light"
California's "Shine the Light" law (Civil Code § 1798.83) lets California residents ask businesses about disclosing personal information to third parties for those third parties' direct marketing. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing.
